Helping others

    I enjoy helping others, this is largely why I chose Sociology as my major.  I hope to find a career where I can make a difference in the lives of others daily.  Unfortunately my community service is limited while I am in basketball season. 

                                                            I enjoy volunteering at the Guadalupe Animal Shelter when I can and fulfilling my sororities philanthropy when volunteering at the local G.E.D. classes held in Seguin on Mondays and Wednesdays.                                   

                                                                                                                               After basketball season is over I plan on volunteering as a Big Sister for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization.  I also hope to acquire a  or just volunteer with a company called A.W.A.K.E. it is a company that usues animal therapy in rehabilitating disabled individuals, primarily with horses.
