Humane Society
My whole life I have been very interested in making sure that animals to get a great home. Since I have 12 years old, I have been volunteering at Humane Societies in Austin, Texas. I was part of a group of people who volunteered to make the facilities at the Cocker Spaniel Rescue in Austin, Texas a better place for animals to live while they are waiting for a new home. We held an adoption day after we finished renovating the facilities. Several animals were placed in loving homes.

Missy Project
The sorority that I am part of called Kappa Pi Gamma is very active in raising awareness for Brain Aneurysm Disease. An alumni Kappa Pi Gamma member's biological sister passed away of a Brain Aneurysm. Her parent's started the foundation The Missy Project to make people more aware of Brain Aneurysm Disease. Every year we host a fundraiser to raise money for The Missy Project and we also volunteer at The Missy Project Golf Tournament which is in Austin, Texas.
"The Missy Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness of Brain Aneurysm Disease (B.A.D.) in children through education, outreach and early detection."
