When I was in High School, I was very involved in leadership organizations, such as Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society, and Student Council.  In each organization, I participated in various activities that benefited others and my community as a whole.  Now that I am a Texas Lutheran University student, I hope that I can do the same for the TLU campus and the Seguin community. 

    As a member of the Presidential Award for Leadership and Service (P.A.L.S.), I will visiting Seguin High School to address the students about different issues such as preparing for college, teenage sex, drugs, alcohol, etc.  As a member of the Black Student Union, I intend on helping the same students by tutoring them, so that they can earn better grades in their coursework.  I also plan on joining Habitat for Humanity so that I can participate in activities such as raking leaves to building houses.
