Drought, poverty, famine and war are not new to Ethiopia, children just like these are running out of hope — and running out of time. That's why I have made it made it my goal to try and help every child develop their full physical, mental, and social potential. And to help them become self-reliant, contributing members of their communities. Considering that it may be difficult to do this directly i plan to donate funds to one of the many children's funds organizations that work with orphaned children in Africa especially in Ethiopia, where i believe that they are really suffering.
Being a business major i would like to open my own business one day and in it i would implement a program that would allow my employees to donate a certain percentage of their monthly income to these organizations that are trying to alleviate the hunger and poverty issues in Ethiopia and other countries in the world. I would also make it such that whatever product i will be dealing with will have a certain percentage of the price go to helping these children.
