School really keeps me busy most of the time, but I am able to help out locally as well. People always have to file tax returns, and this year, I've been helping local people with that. Most recently, I have been helping for a volunteer VITA workshop, where people can come, and if they make below $40000 a year, we can prepare there individual tax return free of charge. I have worked at both the Seguin, and New Braunfels VITA sites, and it has been a real pleasure working with these people. Just the thank you that you receive after you're all done is completely worth the time.  Most of the people come in there worried about the taxes they might owe, and others are just wanting to get a refund, and it is always a great feeling when you help someone get money back, especially if all you have to do is file a form.

     I also volunteer during the summer at my church with Vacation Bible School. I am usually in charge of putting together a video of all the weeks activities to show to the parents during the closing ceremony. Everyone seems to love the ability to see all the creative things there child has done during the week. It's a small way I can help the community, but still makes a difference
