My name is Ben Ehler and I am a Junior here at Texas Lutheran
University. I am a math major, but am still shady on the details
of what I want to do or be when I graduate. I am going to study
abroad my next semester in Granada, Spain. I am currently working
on a Spanish minor as well, and hope to gain much from my experiences
overseas. I was born and grew up in the town of Hallettsville,
Texas. A very small town a little bit over an hour away. I
received my diploma at Hallettsville High School. My parents still
live there, but my only sibling, my older brother Brian, lives in
Austin.
Though I am a math major, I am around the music department much more. I play the trombone in the TLU Symphonic Winds band and am the pianist for the TLU Jazz Ensemble. I have been playing piano since I was four, and try to use that talent in different parts of school, including occasional chapel services.
