Helping Others

    I think that it is important to help people that are in need. People are not as fortunate as I am. Many people do not get to go to college, have a car to drive, live in a nice house, and many other opportunities that I have. I think that is why it is my duty to help people that are not as fortunate as I am. I have been a part of a couple different projects that have given me the opportunity to help the community.

    The first project I went on was called World Changers. In this project, I went to Oklahoma and helped rebuild homes for people who could not afford the repairs on their home. This was a lot of fun and it was also very rewarding. I helped put a new roof on a house, helped paint a house, and helped with the landscaping on a house. The other project I was a part of was a church mission trip where I went to Matamoros, Mexico and helped build a church. This was a lot of fun because I got to go to Mexico and help with starting a new church.
