FAVORITES

My experience here at TLU has been great up to this point. The professors here really give the students one on

one attention that many students ,like myself, desire. Texas Lutheran ranks among the best universities in America.

The curriculum is very challenging. Social life here is also great. Everyone is really nice and easy to get along. There

is something for everyone to do around here. From playing video games to joining a club or fraternity. The experience

has been great and one that I am looking forward to enjoying for the next couple of years.

The city of Seguin is an awesome place to live in. It is far enough away from the city to have a quiet setting, but

not too far in driving distance from many other bigger cities. San Antonio, San Marcos, and Austin are all within

reasonable driving distance. My favorite thing to do in Seguin is to go bowling.

My family and I love to travel. Since I can remember we've been traveling. I remember growing up, we'd

always take some kind of trip to a place I've never been. Since my father's family lives in Chicago, we go there the

most. Flying out there either every summer or winter. We've also been to Orlando, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and

Colorado Springs. Out of all those places, I still prefer Texas as my favorite place to be.

In the next year, my father and I plan to go to Canada to go hunting. I've never been there so it should be

exciting. Being an avid hunter, Canada is known for producing some of the world's largest game.

My favorite food is rib eye, preferably from 14 to 16 oz. The restaurant I love to go to is Morton's Steakhouse.

The food I like to eat on a daily basis is Mexican food. I love the flavor that it has to offer and the many dishes. I

am not too big on fast food though. I can eat, but do not prefer it. Beef fajitas are my favorite Mexican dish. Along

with rice and beans and flour tortillas.

I am very strong in my faith. I am part of the Roman Catholic Church. I try my best to follow the beliefs of the

church throughout my daily life. I read the bible regularly and pray every morning and night. I thank God for all of the

blessings that God has given me. Some people aren't as blessed as we are in this country. For example, people who

live in countries where they aren't allowed to worship as they wish and turmoil throughout the cities is of the norm. I

believe that if I keep my faith strong, I can lead a successful life.
