Common Network Drives

DOUBLE CLICK MY COMPUTER ICON TO ACCESS NETWORK DRIVES

I - Drive:  Department Network Drive space, for faculty and staff.  All faculty and staff have access to their individual department "I" drive. The IS department will give permission to individual to create and view directories in "I" drive. The "I" drive is accessible anywhere on campus.  See sample image      

 

Y - Drive:  Personal Network Drive space, for individual; faculty, staff, and students. Each student has 20 MB "Y" drive space. However, faculty and staff's "Y" drive space is determined by the space available on your department's "I" drive. Individuals have automatic permission to store/save and retrieve personal files/folders in "Y" drive. The "Y" drive is accessible anywhere on campus. No one can access your "Y" drive. G - Drive:  Student Network Drive space, for students’ network applications. Students can't store/save documents in "G" drive. "G" drive is accessible anywhere on campus.
