TLU Experience|City of Seguin|Travel|Food|Faith
In the first semester that I have attended TLU, I have had a positive experience as far as classes and my first real college environment. The main thing I like about TLU is the smaller class size compared to larger universities. So far, everything here at TLU has been going good for me and I am hoping to have a similar experience on campus throughout the remainder of this semester and into the future.
The city of Seguin has been interesting to both live and go to college in. It is fairly similar to the town that I used to live close to. I like it better than if I was going to college in a huge city like San Antonio or Houston because I am used to living in the country. I also work at H-E-B here in Seguin, so going to work lets me come in contact with a lot of people that live here. The location of Seguin is also beneficial to me because it is about an hour and thirty minutes from home, so I can usually go home on weekends sometimes without having to drive a long way.
My traveling experience for the most part so far has been fairly limited. I actually have never been out of the state of Texas, and the farthest place that I have ever traveled to is probably Houston.
My favorite kind of food would probably be a hamburger or just about any type of American food.
I am a Christian and I attend the First Baptist Church in Skidmore, Texas. I believe that God is always there to help me with whatever could be going on with my life and I can always turn to Him for help.
