WELCOME
My name is Yana and I was born in Solikamsk, Russia. My baby sister and I were taken to separate orphanages when I was 6 years old. I was able to go to school and my mother came and visited me when she could. I found out that my sister had been adopted when I was 10 and that the same family was coming to adopt me too. I came to the United States when I was 10. I learned English in about 6 months thanks to my new sisters who had also come from Russia the year before. Now I have a huge family.
I graduated from A&M Consolidated High School and was accepted to Texas Lutheran University along with my two sisters. I am now a junior and am working on getting a B.B.A in Business and a B.S. in Accounting. I hope to graduate TLU and get a job at a local accounting firm. I also hope to get my CPA license so I can make lots of money! I also love to volunteer and been on 4 mission trips to Haiti. You can read about that in the "Helping" section of my website.
