Helping

    I am very active in my hometown community. I attend Mission Trips with my Church and also I'm a lifeguard. I like going on mission trips because I like to see the difference a few people can make helping others. So far, I've been to New Mexico to help landscape a state park, Beaumont, to help roof houses after Hurricane Katrina, and I've been to Dulac, LA, to help construct a house after Hurricane Katrina.

    Also, I am a certified Lifeguard and teach swim lessons in my hometown of Gonzales, Texas, during the summers. I enjoy it because it is a civil service and I like to swim and I like sharing my interests with others. I am the head lifeguard at the local pool, which means I'm responsible for the other lifeguard's well-being.
